Create a Dynamic Home Ab Workout

It may be hard to believe, but great fitness and a toned body can be achieved at home, with little or no equipment. All that is required is self-motivation and a little know-how to help you create an effective home ab workout.
In today’s modern society, we tend to forget that not too long ago most “abs” workout routines (and workout routines in general for that matter) took place outside of the gym. Yes, long before the advent of expensive gym House Interior Colour memberships and pricey high-tech equipment there were indeed people working their bodies into fantastic shape, most of them doing so at home with nothing more than an inexpensive set of dumbbells and a lot of motivation.
How many times, when referencing a pot belly, lack of stamina, etc., have you heard someone utter the words, “Gosh, I need to get to the gym,” as if the absence of a building specifically outfitted and designed for working out were the culprit for their lack of conditioning? You would think by these comments that a gym is absolutely essential if you want a great looking body. Not necessarily so. While a gym membership is great for those who can afford it and for those not bothered by the extra time it takes to get there and back, it is not a fitness prerequisite.
In fact, you can achieve the same results at home. Here we’ll show you a great home ab workout to help you burn fat quickly and lose those unwanted pounds around your middle.
Home Ab Workout
To get great looking abs, whether in a gym or at home, you need to concentrate on much more than just crunches and sit-ups. These exercises help to strengthen the abdomen muscles, but do very little in the way of fat burning – which is the ultimate goal when targeting stubborn belly fat. What you need is a full-body routine that revs up your metabolism, allowing it to go to work on the layers of stored fat in your body.
A full body workout is one that targets all of the muscles in your body through brief, yet intense movements, all performed in a circuit. You pick the exercises and then perform them at maximum intensity, moving quickly from one exercise to the next. And for the most part, these exercises are very basic, requiring little more than a couple of dumbbells and the weight of your own body. Below is an example of a home ab workout circuit:
Bodyweight Squats – 20 Reps
Pushups – 10 Reps
Leg Curls Herb Garden Kit Home Depot – 15 Reps
Dumbbell Presses – 10 Reps
Lunges – 15 Reps
Dumbbell Curls – 20 Reps
Floor Abdomen Work – 10 Reps
Notice that the above circuit works the entire body, alternating from the lower to upper body, allowing each muscle group time to rest. The total time for an intense home abs workout of this type is no more than 10 minutes and can be performed several times a day for best results.
The key to fat loss, lean muscle development and great looking abs is not, nor has it ever been, the place we refer to as the “gym.” With the proper diet and the right combination of intense variable training you can easily get the body you want from the comfort of your own home.
